Physical education in a post-COVID world: A blended-gamified approach

چکیده

How does the education sector recover following disruption caused by COVID-19 pandemic? Much enthusiasm exists to imagine how teaching practices can be enriched within so-called ‘new normal.’ The physical and mental health benefits associated with school have attracted considerable attention during pandemic. Capitalizing on raised awareness of many positive contributions education, a pressing priority is now reengage children activity in manner that promotes enjoyable experiences adaptive engagement movement. In this paper, we draw from self-determination theory, literacy theory socioecological perspectives present case for blended-gamified approaches as means reimagining post-pandemic world. To support all young people lead healthy active lifestyles, propose use systematic evidence-based approach programme development, evaluation implementation. Such an will aid establishing what works, when, whom which context.
